Hargeisa- According to the Police Commissionaire who held a press conference today at Hargeisa, the police is on alert.

"We are waging endless operation against the people who speak the media wrongly. We are warning them. If you do not stop that, do not complain afterwards,” Abdilahi Fadal Iman, the Police Commissionaire, speaking at a press conference in Hargeisa said.

It is not clear whom the Commissionaire is referring to, but he also argued that they are independent from the political parties.

"It is normal the police to renew its operations every couple of months. It is a nationwide operation,” he added.

The Deputy Commissionaire said "the Police is in operation to protect the peace and security.”
