Hargeisa- The president of Somaliland, Muse Behi Abdi, paid his first visit as a president in a foreign soil to neighbouring Djibouti.

The president flew this morning from Egal International Airport. Neither the president nor his staff briefed the media.

President Ismail Omar Guele welcomed the president of Somaliland and his delegation at the airport.

Somaliland's representative to Djibouti, Abdifatah Saed Ahmed, spoke to the media in Djibouti and thanked the host county for its welcoming.

Abdifatah said President Behi was officially invited by his counterpart.
