Hargeisa- Somaliland Foreign Minister Saad Ali Shire says Somalia Partnership Forum ongoing in Brussels does not concern Somaliland.

The Minister said his government was invited but decided not to attend.

A high-level meeting called Somalia Partnership Forum started yesterday, Monday, in Brussels.

The Federal Government of Somalia, federal member states and international partners are discussing on the future of Somalia. The two days meeting focuses on the humanitarian issue.

Asked about the alleged attendance of Faisal Ali Warabe, the leader of UCID party in Somaliland, in the meeting, the minister said "he [Faisal] does not represent us, and Somaliland. He is there for personal interests. It is him who shall answer the reason he is there.”
