Disagreement between the Minster of Presidency and the Minister Water surfaced Thursday after the Minister of Water was refused to attend the ordinary Cabinet meeting held every Thursday at the presidency under the chairmanship of the president of Somaliland, Ahmed Silanyo.  Ahmed Haji Ali Adami, the Minister of Defense, confirmed to Geeska Afrika newspaper that the Minister of Water, Bashe Ali Jama, was unable to appear at the meeting because the presidential guards refused to let him in. The reason of their row is not clear. The two ministers have not so far talked to the media about the issue. Last week the Minister of Water complained that his orders are not executed by the junior government officials. He specifically accused his director general, the Mayor of Berbera and the manager of Berbera Water Agency. The manager of Berbera Water Agency refused to hand over the position after the Minister fired him.
