Hargeisa- Abdirahmaan Mohamed Abdilahi, the presidential candidate of Waddani, talked to the media this evening. He said the election that has happened in 13th November 2017 were marred by irregularities and "widespread rigging."
The National Electoral Commission is expected to declare the results tomorrow.
Abdirahmaan said party members are arrested before, during and after the election.
"party agents reported above 1, 200 incidents of intimidation and physical attacks against them,” he said.
The ballot papers are out of the hand of the National Electoral Commission, and there are ballot boxes staffed with extra ballot papers, he said.
He accused the security forces of using excessive force in 15th November. He stated the unarmed civilians were killed and injured.
He called the government to release "arrested party members.”
The National Electoral Commission and the government are yet to respond these allegations.
