Hargeisa- Nimcaan Hilaah, a prominent Somali singer, is on a run after the police attempted to arrest him in Borama.

Yesterday, Saturday, the police attempted to arrest him , but confronted residents who protested against his arrest.

According to sources in Borama, the police was not able to apprehend him.

No official statement is made by the government in relation to the reason of arrest. But Hilaac has been in Mogadishu, the capital of Somalia, in last months.
