Hargeisa- In a press release, Human Rights Centre called on the government to release two actors detained on 29th March in Las Anod after they acted a drama on the management of the local governments.

Iman Mohamed Jama and Abdiasis Saed Ali were arrested in Las Anod. The drama in question was seen as critical to the local governments of Somaliland, but it did not mention a particular local government.

However, the municipality of Las Anod views the drama as a defamation against them.

In a statement issued by Guleid Ahmed Jama, the head of Human Rights Centre, the organization asked the government of Somaliland to set free the two actors.
