Hargeisa- In a statement, the executive committee of Waddani, the main opposition party, said they ousted their secretary general, Mohamed Abdilahi Uuradde

The committee made its decision today, according to the statement.

Uuradde who is a founding member of the party was elected as the secretary general at the first congress of the party five years ago.

In yesterday, talking to the media, Uuradde said he will serve the position until a congress meeting is held on April 2019.

He accused the chairman of the party of trying to remove him from the position without due process.

Uuradde has yet to comment the new development.
