He said the DP World agreement on Berbera Port and the military base to the UAE were approved by the Parliament because the government gave the members a money.
"I did not vote for the agreements. If I did I would have been a criminal because money was involved. We were negotiated to take money. There were men representing the government,” the member said speaking toHadhwanagnews website.
Hamud was among few members who voted against two controversial agreements. The UN Monitoring Group on Somalia also made the same allegations in their 2017 report.
