Somaliland held a presidential election on 13th November 2017. Muse Behi Abdi of the ruling Kulmiye party won the election.
The main opposition party contender Abdirahman Mohamed Abdilahi disputed the results and called it rigged, although he accepted the presidency of Mr. Behi "for the sake of Somaliland.”
The report said the election was "generally fair and credible.”
The election results were declared in November, and there was an expectation that SONSAF would publish the report earlier than now. It is more than five months since the results were declared.
The international observers published their report on March this year.
