Somaliland deports a comedian back to Somalia

Hargeisa- Abdi Muridi, a comedian who hosts a satire program at Universal TV, was forcefully deported back today to Mogadishu, the capital of Somalia, by Somaliland government.
Abdi Muridi, famously known as Ajakis, was arrested yesterday from Egal International Airport in Hargeia upon arrival, he told local media in Mogadishu.
He claimed that he was mistreated by the manager of the Airport, Mohamed Yusuf, whom he said ordered the arrest. The government of Somaliland has not commented on the matter, but sources confirmed to Somaliland Daily that Ajakis was arrested yesterday and deported back today.
The television host runs a satire program that features politicians. In many occasions, the President of Somaliland appeared. Ajakis argues that he was told by the manager of Egal International Airport that the reason of his arrest is related to the satire program. There are no independent sources confirming such allegations.
