In response, the spokesperson of Somaliland President accused the government of Somalia of interfering in the internal affairs of Somaliland.
On Sunday, Somaliland Parliament in joint session approved a controversial undisclosed agreement granting the United Arab Emirates (UAE) a military base at Berbera.
The Auditor-general argued that the deal is marred by secrecy and corruption.
Somaliland declared independence from Somalia on 1991, but it is not yet recognized internationally.
The military base also sparked disagreement among the Somalilanders where the opposition rejected a base to given to the UAE.
The main opposition party of Somaliland, Waddani, strongly opposed the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to establish a military base at Berbera, a port city located at the red sea. The opposition party claimed that the deal is against the interest of Somaliland and will harm the peace of Somaliland and the region.
